Shen Xiaoping, Shanghai overseas famous teacher, State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs science, Education, culture and health expert, Chinese American medical expert. In 2003, he returned to China from The Medical Center of Ohio State University to establish the first school of Health Technology and Nursing in Shanghai private university system. Now he is the vice president, dean and professor of School of Health Technology and Nursing of Shanghai Sipo Polytechnic. The nursing major founded by the Ministry of Education was rated as one of the first batch of "National Vocational College Health Service Model Professional Points", and the first-class major of "Double High Plan" of Shanghai Higher vocational College.

Of culture and education of health education on the cause of the contribution and foreign exchange activities, the State Council overseas awarded title of "outstanding overseas Chinese education workers", the Shanghai municipal people’s government successively awarded the "Magnolia MEDALS in Shanghai", "Shanghai outstanding overseas Chinese professionals ChuangYeJiang" and "advanced individual of returned overseas Chinese in Shanghai" medal, etc. 

Since 2009, as the first author, he has also won "the First Prize of Shanghai Municipal Teaching Achievement Award", "the Second prize of Shanghai Municipal Teaching Achievement Award", "Municipal Teaching Team Leader of Shanghai Higher Schools", "Advanced Individual of China Private Higher Education", and "Overseas Teacher of Shanghai", and so on.

 Currently, he is also the vice President of the Nursing Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, the Deputy Director of the Chinese Nursing Standards Review Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, a member of the Expert Database of Education of the Chinese Nursing Association, the editorial board member/reviewer of the International Journal of Nursing Sciences, the English journal of  Chinese Nursing Association, and the editorial board member of the Journal Nursing Frontiers. Vice President of the national medical care branch vocational education research association, vice President of the national health vocational education medical research institute, Shanghai nursing association director/deputy director of the nursing education branch, Shanghai vocational health professional teaching refers to the committee for medical/medicine points, deputy director of committee director, the international children’s cancer treatment (China) joint committee director general, China Affairs Consultant of the Ohio State University.

Due to his active contributions to cultural, educational and health undertakings and international exchanges and charitable activities, he was successively appointed as director of China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, overseas Director of Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation, standing Director of Shanghai Overseas Association and deputy director of Education and Culture Committee.
